Night diving reveals species rarely seen during the day. Depending on your experience and conditions, our night dives include coral reefs, muck sites, and selected boat dives. Expect octopus, crustaceans, nudibranchs, frogfish, and a few critters you’ve never seen before.

 

Note: For safety reasons, guests with fewer than 15 logged night dives are required to do a day dive with us before joining a night dive. This allows us to assess your buoyancy and general diving skills beforehand.

We have several dive sites to choose from for our night dives.

Shore diving, coral: Biorock, House Reef (coral spawning monitoring only)
Shore diving, macro: Biorock, Muck Bay, Matahari
Boat diving: A hand-picked selection of Pemuteran Reefs

We dive at all selected dive sites, but because conditions can change, we always assess wind, currents, tides, and waves in real time. The final decision whether a shore night dive is possible is made an hour before diving. The dive site selection for a boat night dive is made on-site by your guide in coordination with our boat captain.
