Learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become a more confident diver. The subject is serious, but the training is fun, and many divers say Rescue Diver was their favorite course. You’ll learn how to recognize stress, respond to dive emergencies, and assist panicked or unresponsive divers. Along the way, you’ll also become a better buddy.

Adventure Diver/Junior Adventure Diver (or qualifying certification) with completed Underwater Navigation Dive;
Be reasonably physically fit and able to dive (check the Medical Form)
EFR Primary and Secondary Care training (or qualifying training) within 24 months
Knowledge development (PADI eLearning) should be completed before the start of diving
Step 1: Theory
PADI eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Learn about principles of in-water rescue and terminology wherever it's convenient for you.
It's your course on your time. Study offline, or online using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor whenever you have a question.
eLearning time commitment: 10-14 hours
Step 2: Practical part
Be a confident and skilled diver
You'll practice handling scenarios such as a leg cramp and assisting a tired diver by role-playing with other students and your instructor.

Search for and locate a missing diver during an accident
How to handle a situation with an unresponsive diver at the surface and under the water
Start the diving course online with PADI eLearning. You can study at home, in your own time, before joining us for the practical training in Pemuteran.
We dive and at all available dive sites, but because conditions can change, we always assess wind, currents, and waves in real time. The final decision is made on-site by your guide in coordination with our boat captain. Read more about the dive sites here.

On good days, a third dive may be possible, depending on weather conditions and logistics. The decision whether we do two or three dives is made on the morning of the activity, prioritizing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
